How do you send a message to a player that is way above your rank?

I'm trying to send my friend a message but don't want to add him to friends yet and his rank is way above mine!

You can send him private messages in chat or you can also use PM in the forum.

To send private message in chat, use colon ":" after the nickname.
Example:

SHOAIB.ZAFAR: Hello
