Does Traceur really reduce the weight of your tank?

Does Traceur really reduce the weight of your tank? According to the Tanki wiki, Traceur reduces air resistance, but I don't notice any change when using it compared to a different paint. Is this true or just written on the wiki for a fun description?

Those are just amusing descriptions for various paints. But in parkour mode battles, the weight parameter of the hull is disabled.
