Why do Mk6 kits appear as if they have Mk7 equipment in them (they have the Mk7 skins, not the Mk6 ones)?

I bought a smokey and it should be a mk6-4 in two days and a firebird mk6-1. They have the m2 skin and in the shop i can buy mk6s that have m3 skins, but the conversion chart says that only mk7s have the m3 skin.

Hello!

The kits available in the Shop look like they all have Mk7 equipment, however, this isn't the case. Back when the Mk conversion occurred, a much wider variety of kits became available, containing combinations of equipment that had never been seen before, so instead of creating designs featuring all these turret and hull combinations, as well as different Mk skin version designs of all of these kits (which would have taken a considerably long time to do for something not very useful), they just show all kits with Mk7 skins, when in reality they don't always have Mk7 equipment in it.

Basically, what I am trying to say is regardless of your rank/the equipment levels in the kit you are looking to purchase, it will look as if it comes with Mk7 equipment, but this isn't actually the case.

Hope this clears up your confusion!
