Problems With Notifications

So, as it says in the title, I'm having problems with notifications. I'm following all categories & subcategories of the Forum thread News and Announcements. The problem is that I don't get notifications when a new topic is added for any of them. I've tried unfollowing & refollowing them, but it didn't work. Could someone please help me fix this problem?
