I fulfilled the requirement to upgrade my tanks hull to an M2 and waited for the required time. I can see a "buy M2 at 100% discount but the upgrde button is not functioning

When you fully micro-upgrade an item, you will be able to get the next modification for free, if you have the required rank for that modification.
