do you get xp from multipliers in team battles?

Please help i bought a multiplier and i am playing in team battles but i don't know if it is working or not

Score multiplier pass boosts the received experience points in all battle modes.

So, in the top left corner your EXP number will grow faster. BUT in team battles, your score DOESN'T grow faster, since the amount of crystals you receive depends on your score in the match.
