What if we run out of time and we don't collect a gold box?

I was in a battle on myself so that i could almost completely garantee that I would get the gold box, but I didn't notice the timer was almost up. Well I dropped the gold box and i didn't see it fall, but the announcement was made. Time ran out before I could get the gold box and i was curious if there was any way that I could get my box back since neither I or anyone else got it.
