when i create a clan how do i invite a friend

If the clan is on Forum, simply ask your friend to post "I am in this clan" in the clan thread.
if the clan is on SL, your friend needs to create an account, open your clan's page on SL and press "Leave a request". After that you need to accept their request if you're the leader of the clan and they'll become a member of it!
