Paints - do they reduce all weapon effects including impact force?

If I have a paint that protects from a certain weapon.. does it then reduce _all_ effects if this weapon hit's me or if I hit myself?
Examples:
- Will the afterburn effect of a Firebird build up slower?
- Will I have less self demage with Thunder and Rico?
- Will the impact force of a Railgun, Smokey, Twins or Hammer be reduced and will I flip less likely?
- is the de-freezing time shorter after I was frozen by a Freeze?
- If a M3+ rail hits me while I wear prodigy.. do the tanks behind me participate from my protection paint? (rail has penetration demage)
- Will I heal slower, when I use an Isida against an Isida protected tank?
- Which paint protects me from Vulcan overheat demage: Firebird protection, Vulcan protection or none of them?

The protection only reduces damage inflicted by a turret, and does not affect other attributes that the attacking turret may posses. So...
  • No, but the after burn itself will be reduced appropriately to the percent of protection.
  • Yes.
  • No.
  • Yes.
  • No, as a Railgun M3 with fully Micro Upgraded penetration power will just pass straight through and affect those behind you equally as though you weren't there.
  • No.
  • Firebird protection, not Vulcan protection.

I'm fairly sure you will heal slower when attacking someone with Isida protection, because technically, you are doing less damage.
My way of dealing with the Vulcan overheating is that I have a friend or a player with Isida who can continuously heal me while over heating.
