PING drops in windows 8.1

Try out the possible solutions listed here.
Ping is the time (in milliseconds) it takes your computer to send data to the server, and for the server to react. Most of the time the issue is with the player's internet connection.

Restart the modem and/or router/switch. Just unplug it, keep it that way for 5+ seconds, then plug it back in. Get other devices off the wifi and stop downloads or programs that require internet connection to run.

Moderator didn't understood my question clearly and gave a solution which were not working for me.

My tanki was fine in win 7 with good ping but in win 8.1 , my ping is starting to drop.
Actually PING drops are good. Do you mean FPS drops? Or maybe your PING is rising?
I mean that PING is 120 ,suddenly it will be above 500 then back to 120 and so on, which results in lag...

Solved.I downloaded latency fix and now its fine..( i applied the ways you mentioned above ).Otherwise Thanks.
