How Do I Calculate Paint Effectiveness?

robroshowitz 4 years ago • updated by MarineMan2 4 years ago 6
When I Equip a paint I always want to know how much equivalent armor I have for each of the protective units each paint has.
For example.....
I have:
50 units of protection on my digital paint against Railgun.
M2 Wasp.
Using the My Digital I can survive 2 Railgun M2 shots.
How much equivalent armor do I have against Railgun?
-----------------------------
Railgun M2 = 135 Units of damage
Wasp M2 = 136 Units of Armor
Digital Railgun Fully Micro Upgraded: 50 Units of protection against railgun
first shot.... alive with more than half HP
second shot..... alive with a little HP
that means...... 136+136+ ~ 15 = 287 armor against Railgun = almost titan before HP update

I have emerald 49 against Thunder. On my M2 wasp I can survive 3 Thunder M3's I think. how much armor against thunder do I have with 49 Emerald?

Please, Goldy is so busy with his life and other affairs right now, don't bother him. If you need to do some math, just use this safe, free online resource: http://bit.ly/1NLfTCt.
BTW the 136+136+15 is supposed to be 135+135+15
Hello Roboroshowitz, now i believe that the paints protect from other turrets based on percentage %. so for example say hammer did 50 damage per shot and you had 50% hammer protection divide that by 2 then bam it dose 25 damage per shot. or if you dont like to do math just use google calculator.
And I get it..... Whenever an m2 shot me I had about 15 HP left but with 50 paint an m2 on drugs leaves me 30 HP left... My friend silversvorpion also thought it was you explanation.......... Anyone reading this; the correct answer is probably what app said
I think you should contact GoldRock. He is known for his very good mathematics at such matters.
