full screen not properly filling window in client

Hi

When I use F11 for full screen mode on my latest Windows 10 laptop, it 'overfills' the screen and all the controls are misaligned in the download client.

If I try to click a button, the actual active area is above where it appears onscreen. You will note that some of the controls (eg. choosing battle type and entering a battle) are off the bottom of the screenshot.

I can work using the maximised client (so I still see Windows taskbar etc.) but would prefer proper full screen.

The Display properties tells me I am using 1920 x 1080 resolution

The same thing happened with me. The best thing to do would be to restart the client. Did it happen only once, or always?

Continually. Have tried updating graphics drivers, rebooting and all sorts. Same problem

Is your screen resolution 1920 x 1080 by default?
This seems to be a bug. Even I had this problem and like I already said, I restarted the client and it worked okay.
Why don't you try Chrome/Mozilla?

Yes, 1920 x 1080 is native resolution. Had found download client better than Chrome/Firefox with old hardware. Could try again

Just tried Chrome - seems better on this machine although controls a bit shaky. Ping better than client

Nice! Will chrome be okay for future destroying? :P

Go to taskbar properties and click auto hide taskbar, apply then click again and apply. This fixed problem for me

sadly, I usually hide taskbar, so makes no difference

I found some interesting things about your problem and maybe it's solution. Check out this webpage for more info: https://support.wildtangent.com/hc/en-us/articles/205048499-Full-Screen-issues-on-Windows-10-

That was helpful, thanks. The laptop has the 'Change the size of text, apps and other items" set to 150% (recommended). WHen I push that back down to 100%, full screen works fine, as far as I can see
