I am wondering how they figure out how much damage railgun does. Is it an even distribution? A normal curve? Does it have to do with how much through the center you pierce their tank?
For example, if it is an even distribution, there will be to same chance to deal max damage as min damage.
A normal curve would have a larger chance of doing average damage and a much smaller chance of doing min or max damage.
And with penetration-based, a shot that goes straight through the core will do much more damage than one that barely glances the tank.
In fact, it would be nice to include this information for ALL guns, if possible, but i am much more concerned with railgun. Thanks!
