Micro Upgrade of my M1 Hammer

lookouthereiam 3 years ago • updated by harry999_super_tank 1 year ago 14

I need an explanation, please. I guess I just don’t understand how the system works, or I am not doing something correctly.

I fully upgraded my M1 Hammer (50 steps) to the basic M2 standards. When I go into the garage, it shows my turret as M1, with M1 shell, and only gives the option to buy M3 Hammer at 235,800 crystals. When I click on the Upgrades button, it shows Progress: 50/50, all of the M2 stats, and a Close button, and nothing else.

When I check in the Micro Upgrades site in the Wiki, it shows that I have paid up to 351,052 crystals to micro upgrade to M2, so I don’t see anything “free” involved in that transaction, whereas I can now buy an M3 for 235,800 crystals outright.

Please explain to me what happens now, and where is my “free upgrade to the next level when available”? I am at the required rank to receive an M3 Hammer, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to buy it outright.

By fully micro-upgrading parameters of a hull/turret, you get the next modification for free. The next modification.

You fully micro-upgraded Hammer M1, so you would get M2 for free, but since M3 is already available at your rank, you cannot buy M2 and you need to buy M3 directly. You cannot get the third modification (M3) for free now because if this was true, players would just fully Micro-upgrade M0 and get M3 for free, saving over quarter a million crystals.

GOOD, I'M SATISFIED

I am satisfied with the timely responses that I have received, but I am not happy with answers I have received. How can you tell me that fully micro upgrading anything to the next level then gets you that level for free, when I have paid many crystals to get to that level? Yes, I may get to use the new parameters earlier than I might have if I waited to buy the next modification outright, but I still paid to get those modifications. Not "free" to me.

Thanks for your reply, but it still doesn't make me a happy camper. In other words I have paid approximately the same amount of crystals to have a glorified M1 as I would have to buy M2 and M3 outright, plus I don't even have the satisfaction of having the M2 shell. It also doesn't answer my question about how is M2 "free" when I paid around 350,000 crystals to get it, and I can't micro upgrade it now, if I chose to do so, I can only buy M3?

Following your logic, micro upgrading an M0 to M1 would therefore make M2 the next modification, which you would get for "free", not M3, which I agree with, but in my case, I upgraded M1 to M2, therefore, logically to me M3 is the next upgrade which, following "logic", I should get for "free".

When you fully micro-upgrade M0, you get to the parameters of M1, but the modification of your turret does not change and it stays as M0. So the next modification (which is M1) will be given for free. By fully micro-upgrading M0 you will not get M2 for free as it's not the next modification of M0, but M1 is.

I think you may be in the wrong section. What does not having a mobile payment option got to do with my subject?

We should still be allowed to keep micro upgrading! I have same predicament and am not looking to receive a jump to next level of equipment. I simply wish to continue to micro upgrade!!!

The statement that I receive next level free should hold true I should rightly have M1 and be upgrading beyond current parameters. I think you should have stated "next available unless you fail to upgrade before reaching certain rank"

This requires a fix now. L should be upgrading toward M3 now! I personally was upgrading 5 turrets, so it has taken some time...

I agree with this person, as you play so many battles to micro upgrade to the next M level and it doesn't acknowledge it. You don't get it for free? You painstakingly earned it. Not allowing a person to upgrade to the next level is a bug that needs to be resolved. Are you trying to force players to give you money for the next M level instead of them earning it through their skills through the micro upgrading process?

EXACTLY! now it is 10/10 which I like but Tanki online never told me that if I level up my rank I have to directly get the new modification that is available! I spent months just to find out that I cannot get my ricochet m0 to m1 at least give me my crystals back you know my username please do something Tanki never to false advertising again please ill respect you if you make a good decision.

i fully upgraded m0 freeze to 50/50 and it is not giving me m1. This is really pissing me off bc it took me months please help!!!

You can only get the highest modification available at your rank, which in your case is Freeze M2. That's how the system works.

Like I said 8 months ago, we are not fully informed in the caption to micro upgrade for next modification. It needs to read "fully upgrade the parameters for next modification to be free as long as you do it before reaching rank where the where another modification becomes available"!!! Now I am curious as to why the prices have skyrocketed for MUing my M1. It now costs way more than higher levels of upgrades on my M2. Why the change to make micro upgrades cost so much?

i have a question, i have a m0 freeze and i cant directly upgrade to m2 but if i micro upgrade it can it go to m2 staright away?

If you fully upgrate it you'll get freeze m1

They need to change that system, It's misleading and false advertizing
