# Scoring in CTF

Schziddy 5 lat temu Ostatnio zmodyfikowane przez Scientist 5 lat temu
I'm curious how the scores is calculated for flag captures and returns.

For example if I take the flag from opponents base and bring it most of the way back, lose the flag, and my teammate captures, how is the score distributed? Also on returns is it distance based? time?

1. For killing enemies:-
• Number of opponents killed X the damage you did to them
2. For capturing flag:-
• Number of active players in opponent team X 10
• If you lost the flag then it depends upon how much nearer you have brought the enemy flag to your flag.
3. For returning flag:-

AFAIK: That teammate gets 10*(number of players in other team in time of capturing) points, you get none. But your team gets one score point which makes you get more crystal for your obtained battle points in the end. Helping your teammates to capture flags is usually better for you than to wrestle over the flag with them and lose it.

Flags are returned when
• somebody from given team rides over it,
• flag gets to unallowed area (like when tank carrying it drives off the map)
• after some time it is just standing in the middle of battlefield (like 20 seconds or so since the time last enemy player dropped it).
I think that it depends on distance, further you take flag more points you get. Keep in mind this is not official data, This is all personal experience and opinion. BTW killing that was holding you flag gives you 20 points in score. I think 10 for kill and 10 for flag.

Players x 10 = the amount of xp you earn per flag capture*
*May drop if your team is dominating with a high score ratio.
