Hello. I would like to know if upgrading an M1 turret to M2, costs exactly the same as fully micro-upgraded M1. Thank you very much.

The answer is no... it doesnt... it costs more to upgrade the hull/turret/paint, than to buy the next version
If u mu a M1 turret to M2 then it wud probably take double the cost of the actual m2 !!

Hey guys I just finished micro-upgrading my M0 vulcan to M1, but when I fully upgraded it then it wouldn't give me an option to upgrade to M1 for free as advertised. So please help me find a solution to my problem. You can probably understand my frustration because i have spent so much time and crystals.

Same scenario with me.

I fully upgraded my M1 Hammer (50 steps) to the basic M2 standards. When I go into the garage, it shows my turret as M1, with M1 shell, and only gives the option to buy M3 Hammer at 235,800 crystals. When I click on the Upgrades button, it shows Progress: 50/50, all of the M2 stats, and a Close button, and nothing else.

When I check in the Micro Upgrades site in the Wiki, it shows that I have paid up to 351,052 crystals to micro upgrade to M2, so I don’t see anything “free” involved in that transaction, whereas I can now buy an M3 for 235,800 crystals outright.

Please explain to me what happens now, and where is my “free upgrade to the next level when available”? I am at the required rank to receive an M3 Hammer, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to buy it outright.

I finished micro upgrading my railgun M0. shouldn't i get the M1 for free?

Same here, did u guys find a solution to your problem?

Guys, keep in mind that you can only purchase the highest modification available for your rank. So, if you fully micro-upgraded M1 turret, but your rank already allows you to purchase M3, you will automatically loose the option to claim the M2 modification for free. The only solution you have is to buy the modification that you are currently offered.

Errr... I'm confused. So I can't claim an M2 but I can claim an M3? This is very confusing topic.

Cloud9,

the answer was posted 2 years ago, currently buying the next modification of the turret will cost you the same as micro-upgrading your turret to the next modification.

- Suppose you fully micro-upgrade Railgun m2, then you can claim railgun m3 for free but ONLY  when you have reached the rank of marshal as this is the unlocking rank of railgun m3. I hope this clears your doubt. Similarly if you have fully micro-upgraded your railgun m1 then you will get railgun m2 for free once you reach First Lieutenant as this is the unlocking rank of the turret.  For more help: https://en.tankiwiki.com/Ranks

That is just not fair. You work soo hard only to miss the opportunity to get the next modification.
